Basic Parenting Classes

Where: 30 Technology Drive
                Rocky Mount, VA

When: Classes start every 6 weeks     *next class begins JULY 8th, 2008

Days & Times: Every Tuesday from 7:00pm - 8:30pm. 

This class is being offered through Piedmont Community Services and the Family Resource Center. Classes will be split according to the developmental stage of children.

Topics to be covered:

Parenting Styles
Age Appropriate Discipline
Substance Abuse Prevention, both Parent and Child
Community Resources and How to Access Them
Effective Communication
Resiliency Concept
Anger and Stress Management, both Parent and Child
