Small Shelters:
 Our small shelters offer seating for up to 50 people with a charcoal grill provided for your convenience.

Large Shelter:
 Our large shelters offer seating for up to 75 people with a charcoal grill provided for your convenience.

Platforms:
 Our platforms are only available at our Waid Park location.  These platforms offer seating for up to 12 people with a charcoal grill for your convenience.

Shelter Fees

Small Shelters
Full day rental fee of $30.00
Half day rental fee of $20.00
 
Shelter at Franklin County Parks and
Recreation located on Sontag Road
Large Shelters
Full day rental fee of $50.00
Half day rental fee of $30.00
 
Platforms
Full day rental fee of $15.00
Half day rental fee of $10.00

Rental Times

Full Day
10 AM to Dusk


Platform located at Waid Recreation Area.
Half Day
10 AM to 3 PM
4 PM to Dusk

***All shelter rentals require a $50.00 clean up deposit**
 The clean up deposit is due upon rental or two months prior to rental.  If the deposit has not been paid within these time constraints, the reservation will be canceled, without refund.
A refund of rental fees will be made ONLY if cancellation notice is given two weeks prior to rental date.

A Few Things To Keep In Mind Regarding Shelter Reservations

*Park hours are from Dawn to Dusk

This one is located at our
Soccer Fields.
*Charcoal fires only in grills
*Absolutely no horses
*Put all trash in trash cans or if full, put full bags
   beside trash can
*Playground equipment is for children ages 12 and
   under
*Please do not park on grass
*No unauthorized motor vehicles on park trails
