Youth Athletics & Adult Athletics Additional Information Baseball - Youth (Spring & Fall)
Baseball is for children ages 7-19 in the Spring & 7-14 in the Fall. Registration for Fall Baseball is free, if registered by the deadline date for each season. All late registrations must pay a $15 fee. Click here for by-laws and here for instructional baseball by-laws.Basketball (Winter)
Youth Basketball practice starts in November, with games being played from January to March. The Instructional League (5-6 yr olds) and Biddy League (7-8 yr. olds) are co-ed. All other leagues, ages 9-17, are divided into girl and boy leagues. Click here for by-laws.Cheerleading (Winter)
Youth cheerleading practice starts in late November and games are played from January to March. Cheerleading is co-ed and available to Franklin County children ages 5-17.Cheerleading Sandlot (Summer Fall)
Sandlot cheerleading is for children ages 6-13. The costs are $40 per child or $80 per family. Games require travel to Franklin County, Roanoke, Botetourt, and Vinton.Football Sandlot (Summer/Fall)
Sandlot football is for children ages 6-12. The costs are $50 per player or $100 per family. Games require travel to Franklin County, Roanoke, Botetourt, and Vinton.Soccer - Youth (Spring & Fall)
Youth co-ed Soccer is designed to teach children the skills of soccer. Fun and sportsmanship is always emphasized. The leagues are separated by age, with ages ranging from 4-17. Click here for by-laws and instructional soccer by-laws.Softball - Fast-Pitch Girls (Spring)
Girls Fast-Pitch Softball is for girls aging from 7-18. This program is co-sponsored by the Franklin County Girl's Fastpitch Softball Organization. Games are played in Franklin County and its neighboring counties. Click here for by-laws, 10-12 years of age and 12-18 years of age.Softball - Modified-Pitch Girls (Spring)
Girls Modified-Pitch Softball is for girls aging from 7-18. The leagues are 8 & under, 10 & under, 12 & under, 14 & under, and 18 & under. Click here for by-laws 10 & Under, 14 & Under, & 18 & Under.Softball - Youth Co-Ed (Summer)
Co-Ed Summer Softball is for boys and girls, ages 7-18. This softball league is for participants to get some exercise, enjoy their peers and have some fun during the summer months. Leagues may be combined depending upon registration numbers.T-Ball (Spring)
This co-ed T-Ball League is for children ages 5-6 as of May 1st. Registration for T-Ball is FREE, as long as registered by March 1, 2007. Practices will begin in late March, with games starting in late April. There will be a $15 late fee if registration occurs after March 1, 2007. April 5, 2007 is the final date for late registrations. Youth wrestling practices are held on Tuesdays & Thursdays at Franklin County High School Law Gym. Wrestling Season starts in November and ends in March. Ages for wrestling are 1st through 6th grades.Adult Athletics
Adult Women's Sand Volleyball (Spring/Summer)
This league is for women and will be played outdoors on a sand volleyball court. Practices for teams will begin in late May. Games will be self-officiated and played June - July. The cost is $50 per team; and, teams are limited to 10 players.Adult Men's Sand Volleyball (Spring/Summer)
